Originally from California, we found an opportunity with our company to work and live in Texas.  We are going on 6 years and enjoy everything about being here.  We started out 13 years ago, asking for God to guide us as a married couple – how could we best serve our community?  Three years into our marriage we were blessed with our biological son.  When we moved to Texas we felt called to be involved in the community through leadership roles in scouting and faith formation at our church.  And as we talked about growing our family, we wanted to learn more about adoption.

Our journey began in December 2007 and although we prayed for at least one more sibling for our family, we were blessed with a sibling group!  In November 2009 we finalized our adoption.  God’s call to parent is challenging, but we do find grace in every single moment we experience.  We are honored and filled with hope each day as we watch our children discover life and learn to love.
