Embrace was established in Fall 2007 to encourage foster care and adoption at Rhea's Mill Baptist Church in McKinney, TX. Within a few months the ministry began to see the needed work outside the church walls and has partnered with child placing agencies, non-profit organizations and other local churches to reclaim the care of orphans and waiting children. The ministry became a registered 501c3 non-profit organization with the state of Texas and Internal Revenue Service in June 2010.
