When your church or business participates in Embrace’s annual Angel Tree program, you’re inviting everyone who passes by to be a part of God’s provision for families in need in our community. Each “Angel” ornament represents a need for a child in foster care, foster family, or teen “aging-out” of foster care. 100% of items and donations stay right here in our community. In addition to scholarships, an Amazon wishlist, and gift cards, many of the Angels are items with no financial cost (such as donating volunteer hours or prayer requests). Not only are these impactful ways to serve they allow participation by those who may not have the financial means to purchase an item or donate.

The Angels are shipped to hosts in October, for display in November and December. Most of the Angel requests include QR codes that direct participants scan to access prayer requests, online donation portal, or to purchase items that are shipped directly to Embrace. Hosting an Angel Tree has never been easier! Tangible items you do collect are not time sensitive, and need not be delivered until January. You can request a specific number of Angels appropriate for the size of your audience. While we hope you have many participants, please know it’s not necessary to ensure every Angel is taken off the tree. Embrace raises funds and collects items throughout the year to take care of any needs left unmet after Christmas.
